ABOUT ME....
When I think of riding, two phrases come to mind. The first by author Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, “Well-behaved women seldom make history”. The second was from a friend when I asked him why he rode. He said, “When I ride I understand why birds fly”.
The first time I was on a bike I was 15. It was on the back of my Uncle’s Honda Shadow. I remember the smile stretched across my face and I’ve been in love ever since. I started riding on my own a few years ago.
A good friend took me under his wing and mentored me through the classes, bike maintenance and powering through the curves. I joyfully chased him through the country roads between Salem and Eugene. I started on a Rebel and moved up to a V-Star named Sally. For me, riding isn’t just about rolling back on the throttle and powering through the turns. It’s also about finding balance and understanding why birds fly. This motorcycle club provides a community of like-minded individuals to explore and share a mutual love of riding.
