DOBPDX rides to support Oregon and Washington LGBTQ communities. We participate in Pride Events of various cities. DOBPDX attends fundraisers, events in these different cities and creates rides together as a club to help promote LGBTQ events. We plan rides that incorporate all types of fun events so that we can spread queer visibility.
DOBPDX rides are on Saturday and Sundays; come check out what we have in store for you. Visit our Facebook https://www.facebook.com/DykesonBikesPortland/ DOBPDX will ride with the exception of bad weather. We’ll post on Facebook if the ride has been cancelled. All are welcome to join in on our fun, riding to wherever it takes us. DOBPDX welcomes ALL , come see what we are all about, the camaraderie, and the feeling of giving back to our community. Requirements of each ride: 1. You must be legally endorsed or have a learners permit 2. Your tank must be filled at the start of the ride; arrive at least 10 minutes before KSU 3. Your motorcycle must be street legal and have all functions working: horn, lights, signal lights 4. You must have insurance on your bike 5. Exchange phone numbers with a few of the DOB Portland members, in case we get separated 6. Know the route of the ride, in case we get separated 7. Have the necessary safety gear 8. Understand riding in “group formation” and using “hand signals” 9. Often rides will have a waiver that needs to be signed 10. NO alcohol or drugs can be consumed before or during ride 11. NO show-off riding or “hot-dogging” while riding with DOB Portland |
